WARNING - DANGEROUS COUNTERFEIT X-POLES BEING SOLD!! BEWARE OF FAKE X-POLES on EBAY/CRAIGSLIST/AMAZON! FAKE X-POLES LOOK THE SAME BUT ARE HIGHLY DANGEROUS!

Counterfeit X-Poles are being found around the US, UK, and Australia. Be very careful as the quality is NOT the same. The fake X-Poles have been designed to LOOK the same, but they have left out all the key safety features inherent to the authentic X-Pole design.

There are several variations, but all are unsafe.

The fake X-Poles have plastic domes that crack (chromed to look like metal).

They have knife sharp edges on joints that open and close when the pole flexes. This can catch your skin while you are on the pole & cause serious injury. They can also bow dangerously as joints are not welded, but just slot in.

The chrome is of very poor quality and will peel off in large sharp flakes that can cut you.

Most of the fake poles have black rubber on the base and dome (which will leave marks on your ceiling).

Be careful as these imitation sets are being sold as "the same as X-POLE" or "the same X-POLE design". They are NOT the same design & the quality is inferior at best... at worst highly dangerous.
